About The Lead Leaders

Hi, I’m Ashley, the owner of The Lead Leaders based in Wigan. I’ve grown up with dogs and have always had a deep love for all breeds, big and small. From energetic working breeds to laid-back companions, I understand that every dog has its own personality and needs. 

I have a Border Collie who has experienced reactivity issues, so I understand firsthand the challenges that can come with walking a more sensitive or reactive dog. I know how important patience, positive reinforcement, and the right approach are when handling these situations. 

Caring for animals has always been my passion, which is why I started this business—to provide dogs with the exercise, attention, and companionship they deserve while giving owners peace of mind. I’m also trained in dog first aid, so you can feel confident that your pet is in safe hands. Whether your dog enjoys social group walks, prefers a one-on-one stroll, or just needs a friendly check-in during the day, I’m here to help!
